Jonathan Arnold
(PhD, University of Oxford) is the Associate Professor of Church History and Historical Theology and the Director of Research Doctoral Studies at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Prior to his current position he served at Boyce College where he served as the founding director of the Augustine Honors Collegium, assistant professor of Christian Theology and Church History , and as the founding editor of The Augustine Collegiate Review.



Matthew Barrett
  (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is Associate Professor of Christian Theology at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is also the founder and executive editor of Credo Magazine, He is the author of numerous books, such as Simply Trinity: The Unmanipulated Father, Son, and Spirit and None Greater: The Undomesticated Attributes of God. He is married to Elizabeth and they have four children.



Andrew S. Ballitch
(PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is Associate Pastor of Preaching and Ministries at Westwood Alliance Church in Mansfield, Ohio, where he also directs Westwood Theological Academy. His research interests include Puritan theology in its post-Reformation historical context, the history of biblical interpretation, and seventeenth and eighteenth century English Baptists. He and his wife, Darcy, have three children, Elizabeth, Etta, and Winston. 



Dustin Bruce
(PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is currently serving as the Dean of Boyce College, the undergraduate school of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. In addition to his roles as an instructor and several administrative roles at Southern, Dr. Bruce has served on staff at churches in Texas and Kentucky. He is currently co-editing a volume on the Holy Spirit in a critical edition of John Owen’s writings.



Ian Hugh Clary
(PhD, University of the Free State) is Assistant Professor of Historical Theology at Colorado Christian University, Lakewood, CO, and co-host of the Into Theology podcast. He is the author of Reformed Evangelicalism and the Search for a Usable Past (Vandenhoek & Ruprecht, 2020).



Ryan Griffith
(PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is a pastor and Director of Training at Cities Church in St. Paul, MN. Before coming to Cities, Ryan served as Executive Director of The Gospel Coalition. Ryan was the founding Director of Undergraduate Studies and Assistant Professor of Church History and Humanities at Bethlehem College & Seminary (Minneapolis, MN) where he taught for twelve years. He currently serves on the Board of Indianapolis Theological Seminary (IN).



Joe Harrod
(PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is currently serving as the associate vice president for Institutional Effectiveness at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary since 2015, having previously served since 2008 as the Director of Institutional Assessment. He also serves as an assistant professor of biblical spirituality. He is also a member of the Evangelical Theological Society.



Matt Haste 
(PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is Associate Professor of Biblical Spirituality and Biblical Counseling and the Director of Professional Doctoral Studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is co-author (with Robert L. Plummer) of Held in Honor and co-author (with Shane W. Parker) of The Pastor’s Life. He has over a decade of pastoral ministry experience and has published work on Andrew Fuller and several other eighteenth-century Baptists. 

Jeff Robinson (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is director of news and information at Southern Seminary. He is pastor of Christ Fellowship Baptist Church in Louisville, served as senior editor for The Gospel Coalition for six years, and is also adjunct professor of church history and senior research and teaching associate for the Andrew Fuller Center at SBTS. He is co-author with Michael A. G. Haykin of To the Ends of the Earth: Calvin’s Missional Vision and Legacy (Crossway, 2014) and co-editor with D. A. Carson of Coming Home: Essays on the New Heaven and New Earth (Crossway) and 15 Things Seminary Couldn’t Teach Me with Collin Hansen. He is author of Taming the Tongue: How the Gospel Transforms Our Talk.

Corneliu C. Simuţ (PhD, King’s College) is Research Associate at the University of Pretoria, South Africa, and Professor of Historical Theology at Emanuel University, Oradea, Romania. He has obtained his Bachelor of Theology in Pastoral Theology from the University of Bucharest, his PhD in Church History from King’s College, University of Aberdeen, his ThD in Dogmatic Theology from the University of Tilburg, and his Doctor of Divinity in Systematic Theology from the University of Pretoria. South Africa. His education includes a Habilitation in Religious Studies from the Reformed Theological University of Debrecen, a postdoctoral research fellowship and a senior vice-chancellor postdoctoral research fellowship in theology and religion, both at the University of Pretoria. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, USA, and supervises doctorates at Union School of Theology, England.



Jeongmo Yoo
(PhD Calvin Theological Seminary) under the supervision of Dr. Richard A. Muller.  Dr. Yoo is assistant professor of church history at Torch Trinity Graduate University in Seoul, Korea.



Ryan P. Hoselton
(PhD, University of Heidelberg)wrote his thesis on Andrew Fuller’s Theology of Virtue. He then received his PhD from Ruprecht-Karls-Universität Heidelberg with a dissertation on the biblical experientialism of Cotton Mather and Jonathan Edwards. He is currently a postdoctoral Research Associate and Instructor in the Faculty of Theology and American Studies program at Universität Heidelberg, where he assists with the research initiatives of the Jonathan Edwards Center Germany and the Biblia Americana Project.



David H. Wenkel
(PhD, University of Aberdeen) is Research Fellow and Affiliate Faculty at ICC International University in Klaipėda, Lithuania. His interests lie in theological interpretation and Baptist confessionalism. He is the editor of The London Baptist Confession of 1646: A Modern Version for the Church Today(Ambassador, 2017) and the author of Jesus the Dayspring: The Sunrise and the Visitation of Israel’s Messiah (Sheffield Phoenix, 2021). 



Michael Pohlman
(PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) serves as Associate Professor of Christian Preaching and Pastoral Ministry, and Chair of the Department of Ministry and Proclamation, at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is the author of Broadcasting the Faith and the forthcoming Resolutions of a Pastor: A Biblical, Theological, and Personal Vision for Ministry (2022). Dr. Pohlman also serves as the co-host (with Michael Haykin) of the weekly history podcast "Bede: History for the Church."

Eric Smith (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) serves as an Associate Professor of Church History at SBTS and specializes in the history of American and Southern Baptists. He has written three books, most recently John Leland: A Jeffersonian Baptist in Early America (OUP, 2022). He has served in pastoral ministry since 2008, and as the senior pastor of Sharon Baptist Church in Savannah, Tennessee, since 2013.

Jesse Owens (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) serves as Assistant Professor of Historical and Systematic Theology at Welch College and Divinity School. In 2016, he led the efforts to plant Immanuel Free Will Baptist Church in Gallatin, TN, where he continues to pastor. Jesse’s primary areas of academic interest are seventeenth and eighteenth century English General Baptists, with particular focus on confessionalism, associationalism, and Trinitarian theology.



Baiyu Andrew Song
(PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary; FRAS) is a research associate and teaching fellow at the Andrew Fuller Centre for Baptist Studies in Toronto, Canada. He also serves as adjunct professor at Carey Theological College, Vancouver, and Redeemer University, Ancaster, Ontario. His research interests include British nonconformity in the long eighteenth century and global Christianity.

Casey McCall (PhD, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) is Lead Pastor at Ashland Community Church in LaGrange, Kentucky. He is married to Niki, and they have five children. He attended Samford University and received his Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary where he is currently pursuing PhD studies in Church History. 

Jonathan N. Cleland (PhD Cand., Knox College, University of Toronto) is an adjunct faculty member at Heritage College and Seminary, Cambridge, Ontario. Jon has published articles in Evangelical Quarterly, The Journal of Andrew Fuller Studies, and Unio Cum Christo and has co-authored two books with Michael A.G. Haykin: “Rooted, strengthened, thankful”: The Story of West Highland Baptist Church, Hamilton, Ontario (2022) and “A priceless heritage”: A History of Heritage College and Seminary in three essays (2023). Jon’s main research interests concern the history of Reformed theology, the Reformer Peter Martyr Vermigli, and Canadian Church History. He is married to Laura and they have two children.

Jared Skinner
is currently a PhD candidate in church history at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville, KY. Jared lives with his wife and their five children in Indiana where he serves as Senior Pastor of Plainfield Baptist Church. He is also a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.



Caleb Anthony Neel
is the Assistant to the Directors of The Andrew Fuller Center, and a PhD candidate in Patristic Studies at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary, where he also completed his undergraduate in Biblical and Theological Studies and MDiv. His areas of interest for research include the conceptions of embodiment, materiality, beauty, and animal life in Christian thought. He resides in Louisville, KY with his wife and daughter, Laura and Lucy. He is a veteran of the US Navy and a graduate of the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, California with his degree in Russian.



Chance Faulkner

Zachary K. Williams
 is currently a PhD candidate in Baptist History at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. His research is primarily focused on eighteenth-century Particular Baptist ecclesiology and social engagement. He is originally from Mississippi, and he completed a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry from William Carey University in 2017, followed by a Master of Divinity from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in 2020. He has been married to his wife Courtney since June 2020, and together they reside in Louisville, Kentucky and attend Kenwood Baptist Church at Victory Memorial.




Jake Stone
is currently a Master of Divinity student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is originally from Gulfport, Mississippi, and he completed a Bachelor of Science in Christian Ministry from William Carey University in 2018. He served in pastoral ministry in Mississippi for twelve years and helped organize the Carey-Fuller Conference which focused on the local church and Baptist history. He resides in Louisville, Kentucky and is a member at the Reformed Baptist Church of Louisville.



Garrett Walden
(ThM, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary) serves as a pastor at Grace Heritage Church. His research focuses on eighteenth-century Baptist history and theology, and particularly the life and writing of John Collett Ryland. Garrett, his wife Kat, and their four children reside in Auburn, Alabama,


Jared Mays
is currently a PhD student in Early Modern History at Queen's University Belfast where he is studying the development of dissenting and Baptist theology and politics in the late Stuart period. While in Belfast, Jared is also serving Great Victoria Street Baptist Church as a pastoral intern through Reaching and Teaching International Ministries with the goal of remaining in Ireland for continued gospel ministry after his degree. Jared received his MA from Southern Seminary where he studied the sacramental theology of Baptist Minister, Benjamin Keach under Dr. Michael A. G. Haykin. Jared is married to Zoe and they have three sons, Knox, Callum, and Graham.

Nicholas J. Abraham is currently a PhD candidate at SBTS in biblical spirituality. He serves as Lead Pastor/Planter of Reformation Bible Church in Navarre, Ohio. He has his DMin from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary and is a cofounder of Emmaus Theological Seminary in Cleveland, Ohio where serves as professor of church history and biblical spirituality. His research interests are Andrew Fuller, eighteenth-century evangelicalism, Dietrich Bonhoeffer, and prayer. He is the author of the forthcoming Living Together in Unity with Dietrich Bonhoeffer (Lexham, 2023). He lives in Navarre, Ohio with his wife Anna and daughter Nora.
