There is only one week left to register for the upcoming Andrew Fuller Center conference. The theme of our fifth annual conference is "Baptists and War." The schedule for the conference is available online here.
The highlight of the conference may well be the special lecture and panel discussion on the American Civil War. With this year being the sesquicentennial of the beginning of the Civil War, we have invited Dr. George Rable (History Professor at the University of Alabama) to speak on "Was the American Civil War a Holy War?" His lecture will be followed by a panel discussion between him, Dr. James Fuller (History Professor at the University of Indianapolis) and our own Dr. Tom Nettles and Dr. Greg Wills (moderator). This should be a fascinating event held in Heritage Hall at 7:30 pm on Monday, September 26th. This event is going to be open to the seminary community and wider public for free.
